At Rebel RIBs we know that reliability and performance are key when it comes to outboard engines. That’s why, for our boats, we choose to fit Tohatsu 4 stroke engines which is one of the best engines on the market. Made in Japan, Tohatsu engines offer great performance and economy and come with a 7 year warranty. With a big dealer network worldwide, finding spare parts and servicing is a breeze. We can also provide lightweight 2 stroke engines for commercial use only. We’re proud of the engines we fit and the boats we build.

TOHATSU PORTABLE RANGE 3.5HP TO 9.8HP
TOHATSU'S range of smaller portable outboards offer some unique features not widely available on the market. These include through the propeller hub exhaust to minimise noise. The twist type throttle grip is standard on all models and the front mounted gear lever is key to easy operation. There is a convenient, ergonomically designed carry handle to improve portability. These are great for your Rebel Raider. Also now available in this range is the unique LPG powered MFS5C LPG which is leading the way in green technology.

TOHATSU MID RANGE OUTBOARD ENGINES 15HP TO 60HP
Tohatsu mid-range outboards are equipped with Battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection technology for optimum fuel efficiency. Many of these outboards boast the title of 'lightest in their class' whilst continuing to uphold the quality engineering consistent with Japanese developed and manufactured products. 

These outboards are available in a wide variety of models ranging from manual start to fully loaded with remote steering, power trim and tilt. Ultra Long extension kits are also available for all models as well as the option of fitting multifunction tiller handles to enhance usability for those not requiring remote steering.
